MEET DR. HILLMER

Dr. Jed D. Hillmer received his Doctorate of Optometry from Pacific University College of Optometry in 2006, graduating with honors. In 2008 he joined the practice of Dr. Gary L. Renier, studying geriatric vision care and low vision under the guidance of Dr. Renier. Dr. Hillmer purchased Dr. Renier's clinic in 2010, establishing Hillmer Eye Clinic.  He has served as the Clinical Director of the North Dakota Special Olympics Lions Clubs International Opening Eyes Clinic since 2014. Dr. Hillmer has given multiple presentations on the Aging Eye, Vision and Falling, Low Vision Rehabilitation and Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation.    Professionally, he is a member of the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association (NORA), the American Optometric Association (AOA), and the North Dakota Optometric Association (NDOA). He currently serves on the NDOA Board of Directors as President.
